- It is not known where or precisely when they married. William Henry shows up in Vancouver as a jeweller and watchmaker in 1917, and is listed under his own name as a Watchmaker and Jeweller until 1921, at which point he was in partnership in the same trade with George T Munn. It is likely around this time that they married, yet they do not show up in the British Columbia Marriage indexes, which, at the time of writing in 2001, go up to 1925, and they left Vancouver for Los Angeles around 1923. Perhaps they married back in Manitoba.
