  Married: The Margery Mallet(t) who married Abraham Luxton was originally thought to be the daughter of Oliver of Ash, since she was the only Margery in Iddesleigh who fit the bill, but Oliver describes Margery as Margery "Olde" in his will. Her first husband might have died, and then she might have married Abraham Luxton, but then the entry in the parish register likely would have been Margery Olde rather than Mallett. She was also about 60 years old in 1658, so unlikely to be marrying. It is much more likely that this Margery, connected to the Iddesleigh Mallets through her grandfather Hugh (Oliver's brother), is the one who married Abraham Luxton. Her mother died when she was still a minor, so her Iddesleigh cousins may have taken her in, and that would explain why she was married in Iddesleigh.
