• Notes

  Married: He was described as "Esquire", and of Menheniot, which doesn't mean he was born there. There were two Williams born in Liskeard in 1766 that could fit the bill, and one born 1754 in Menheniot, but he'd be a bit old — especially since Joan Pollard was described as "a minor". Her age has been estimated to be 20, assuming that a minor was anyone under 21.
