If you look at the 1881 Census you will find Elizabeth living with her husband George Judge and their 1 year old daughter Ada Elizabeth. This was before my grandmother was born. Her life has been quite a mystery to all because she came to Canada as a Bernardo child (home child) and none of her past was known by my mother - her only living child. I received information from the Bernardo's when my mother was 83 and she was quite glad to have some information about her mother. (Source: Susan Edwards).
