    • Octavius doesn't seem to show up in the census at all, and Bertha has married and moved away. William is now head of household, single, Farmer. His nephew William, assumed to be the son of Augustus because of his age and place of birth, lives with him and is described as a Farmer's Assistant.

    • William was single, Head of Household and Farmer at Barton. He had 2 domestic servants and 1 farm worker. One wonders why he didn't take over Launcells Barton from his father, but Barton had been in the Furse family for several generations, and Uncle William appears not to have married and had children, so perhaps all agreed that William the younger would take over Barton and keep it in the family.

    • The transcribers had trouble with Paulina's name - it is entered twice, once as Banbury and once as Bambury. A check of the 1891 census index indicates that Banbury occurs much more frequently than Bambury in Cornwall, and Banbury was transcribed from her birth registration, so Banbury was the variation chosen.

      They also apparently couldn't make out the last letter of her second given name, but her death and birth registrations show it to be "a", so her second given name has been recorded here as "Paulina".
