13 Station Road This appears to be the house as it looks today (2015) that Frederick William Mallett, his wife Edith and their family lived in from roughly 1900 to 1940.

Alternate Name |
Florence Maud Goodman |
Residence |
Between 1920 and 1938 |
Hong Kong, China [5] |
- Reginald, Florence, and Dorothy left England in 1920 bound for Hong Kong. It is assumed that they lived there at least until 1938 because they left England on two other occasions in 1925 and 1938 bound for China, but their "Country of Last Permanent Residence" was given as "Foreign Countries", and their "Country of Intended Future Permanent Residence" was China. On the first trip in 1920 their last permanent residence was England, and their destination was Hong Kong. Dorothy did not travel with them in 1938.
Given that they travelled to Hong Kong just prior to the beginning of hostilities in WWII, one wonders if they were trapped in Hong Kong when the British surrendered it to the Japanese in 1941.
