- A report from Debrett's regarding the Norfolk origins of Robert Mallet, a man convicted of larceny in Norwich and subsequently transported to Australia, determined that Robert Daniel of Acle, Norfolk, was the father of Robert, because a Bastardy Order was made against Robert Daniel on Aug 25, 1805, for the maintenance of Robert Mallett.
This is not, however, the Robert Mallet who was transported to Australia.
