      Funeral services from Rutherglen United Church, McAuley, on Monday, October 15th, at 2:30 pm. Interment at McAuley Cemetary.

      As per an article in the Virden Empire-Advance(?) 1984 [some text removed] - Henry Mallett: After a lengthy illness, Henry Mallett passed away on October 13, 1984, [sic] at Virden District Hospital.

      Mr. Mallett was born at McAuley on January 26, 1901. He lived most of his life in that district. He married the former Ina Wood in 1925, and they had three children. In 1952, the Malletts retired to McAuley, Mr. Mallett was employed for some years in the garage in that town. In 1975, Mr. and Mrs. Mallett celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
      The funeral service was held on October 15 at McAuley United Church. Interment was in McAuley Cemetary.
