      An event which stirred the local adrenalin was the eviction on Tuesday 24th March 1903 of Mrs. Farman and her teenage son from the Crypt Cottage, the local constable putting on the door his handcuffs to stop re-entry. Cannot be this Mrs Farman as she is too old but she did live in the cottage
