    • I found Mary J Whitehead and her infant daughter in the New London cemetary buried with other Whiteheads. It simply says "wife of Henry Mallett", and gives her age as 22. The time frame and her age makes it possible that she was Henry's first wife. Edison isn't born until 1896.
