  Verbatim transcript: "Unto my wife Susanna Mallett my friend Serle Deeble of Anthony Gentleman and the Reverend Mr. Joseph Smart all my lands at Trengoe in Menheniott and at Millbrooke to the use of my two sons Hugh and William Mallett unto my two daughters Mary and Elizabeth Mallett as soon as my daughter Elizabeth shall attain 21. If either of my sons die before attaining 21. Witnesses: William Mallet, Amy Mallet, Ann Hozle." William Mallet was likely his brother. Amy Mallet is likely his youngest sister. Ann Hozle is unknown. Millbrook is now part of Maker, in Cornwall, but close to Plymouth.

In the first place I order all my lawful Debts to be discharged; at present I know of none but to my sister Mallett for which she has got my Bond. I give to my cousin Mallett wife of my cousin Mallett of Ash my diamond ring consisting of seven stones; & to cousin Mallett her husband my ring with the King’s picture under a Christial. To my cousin Amy Mallett his sister a mourning ring with a table diamond. I give to Mr George Abraham Gibbs my gold stop watch. The residue of my goods chattels houses & effects I give & bequeath to my sister Sarah Mallett who I constitute whole & sole executrix in witness whereof I set my hand and seal this second day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy one.
