    • The burial transcription gives a birth year of 1746, which does not match his baptism date, but this Hugh was known to be living in Callington, and this burial occurs there. He was certainly the son of John Mallett, but perhaps a different one than the one chosen, which gives a birth year of 1743. It's also quite possible, even likely, that they got his age wrong when they recorded the burial in the first place.
