Exwick

This village on the western edge of Exeter was home to members of the Dowland and South Tawton branches of the Mallett family. Of particular interest is Exwick Mill which was owned by William Richard Mallett, who bought it from the Buller family. William knew Sir Redvers Buller of Boer War fame.
