Coat of Arms of the Mallets of Deandon. The Malets of Enmore in Somerset inherited the estate and coat of arms of the Deandon family in the 13th century, thus starting the Ash and Wooleigh/St Audries Mallet dynasties in Devon. Deandon, also once known as Deaudon or Deardon, is now known as 'Jordan' at Widdecombe-in-the-Moor. Thus the Mallet family has had a continuous presence in Devon for over 700 years.
