Marriage Unknown:
- No marriage has been found for William and Elizabeth, but the two were living in the same house in the 1841 census, though apparently enumerated as two separate families — he with children and she with children (relationships are not given). David's (1843) baptism record states that he was the son of William (Brass Founder) and Elizabeth, and the Civil indexes give David's mother's maiden name as Williams (same for Selina). Of course Elizabeth's maiden name may not have been Williams, since she had several children in 1841 living with her with the surname Williams which would indicate that she was previously married. Though unlikely, they could all have been illegitimate, or she just gave her previous married name rather than her actual maiden name when registering David's birth. In 1851, after William's death, Elizabeth was remarried to William Eason, and their family consisted of a mixed bag of Eason, Williams and Mallett children. So, William and Elizabeth were together and had children, but perhaps not as man and wife.
