      Account of Clara and Wm. A's marriage in The Guardian of Sep 16, 1899: "The day being pleasant, the ceremony was performed on the lawn under a beautiful arch of evergreens. The bride wore a beautiful brown costume with silk trimmings, and carried a handsome bouquet of asters. After luncheon the bridal party left for York Station, amid showers of rice and the booming of guns, where they took the train for this future home of Souris."
