In the 1891 census (if that was the same Richard) he gave his age as 46, giving a birth year of 1845, and gave his birth place as Duloe. 5 years is a rather large discrepancy in age, but Diloe and Morval are close together, and only 1 Richard about the right age was found in the census after 1861, and no other Richard that fits the criteria was found before that.
