    • In the 1841 Census for South Tawton it shows that John Kellaway and Elizabeth were living next door to Elizabeth's parents, James Mallett and Agnes Lang. In turn, James and Agnes lived next door to John Mallett and Susanna Cann.

      The baptism record of their son, John Kellaway in 1846 states Elizabeth was a widow. Elizabeth Kellaway (nee Mallett) married her second husband John Paltridge on the same day as their son, William Paltridge, was baptised, both on the 19th January 1851.
