Note |
- Left the Royal Navy in 1954 after serving for 18 years. He ran two pubs one called 'The Ferriers Arms' in Southsea then 'The White House' on Sherman Road. This was Compulsory Purchased by Portsmouth City Council and demolished to make way for flats in the 1970's. Betty continued to run the other pub until 1983.
